The Quebec Foundation for Athletic Excellence bases its intervention on the following vision: the athletic and academic performance is a source of expression of excellence which contributes to create models of discipline, perseverance and success. In accordance with this vision, the mission of the FAEQ so goes:

The Foundation's emblem consists of a torch representing sport at the international level, the silhouette of an athlete aspiring to the highest levels of sporting excellence, and books symbolizing education and academic success in the athlete's post-career period.

·         It's a financial agency that coordinates, consolidates and awards grants to university and international-calibre athletes.

·         It's a group of individuals, corporations, companies and organizations who have come together in the common cause of athletic excellence in Quebec, to encourage athletic and academic development during an athlete's career.

·         Manages bursaries and support programs adapted to the needs of the athletes, realized in dialogue with the amateur sport organizations.

·         Offers turnkey models to companies, from the selection of the grant holders to the elaboration and in the realization of communication plan and visibility.

·         Set up innovative projects to promote the athletes and the amateur sport.

·         Does the necessary representations for the development of the sports excellence.
